Foil faced bubble wrap is composed of either one single bubble or two double bubble layers of mylar air bubbles sandwiched between two metalized surfaces. This product like sheet foil should be installed with the foil side facing the metal roofing. The main one in the latter category is foil faced bubble wrap sold as insulation. Bubble foil insulation adds a layer of insulating air to the radiant barrier provided by the foil.
