Does Ring Doorbell Chime On Echo Dot. I ve just linked ring to the amazon fire tv and the echo dot is chiming when the ring doorbell 2 is pressed. Does anyone have advice on setting it up. They are not queued for future retrieval and the notifications do not have to be cleared.

I believe i have everything installed correctly but when i ring the doorbell i do not get a ring.
All other notifications work just fine its just the dot that doesn t ring. If i disable or turn off the camera s motion detection on my doorbell will i still receive chime announcements when the doorbell is pressed. I just googled your site and google does not make any of this stuff. It connect to the ring video doorbell through the ring app.
